Columbia hosts Yale in Ivy League action Friday night before heading to No. 3 Rutgers Sunday

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW...
COLUMBIA'S STATUS
The Lions was edged by Brown, 1-0, Saturday and have lost four in a row since starting the season 6-0. Columbia has been without two of its captains - Allison Smith, who has missed the entire season due to injury, and Kelsey Farkas (injury) in the last three contests. The Lions have been shut out in three-straight and will look snap a string of 182:51 without a goal.
YALE'S STATUS
The Bulldogs fell to a pair of nationally ranked teams last weekend, staying even with each until the third quarter. But ultimately No. 13 Harvard (two penalty corner goals in the third quarter) and No. 20 UMass (three penalty corner goals in the second half) pulled away for 3-1 and 3-0 wins respectively. Theodora Dillman paces Yale with six goals and 14 points. In goal, Luanna Summer is the projected starter with a 2.04 GAA, .744 save percentage and a shutout.
INSIDE THE SERIES - YALE
Columbia is 5-18 against Yale all-time and have dropped two-straight in the series. The Lions held a pair of leads, but the Bulldogs tied the score in the third quarter and won it, 4-3, in overtime after Olivia Levieux converted on a penalty stroke in extra time.
RUTGERS' STATUS
The Scarlet Knights have eked out a pair of 1-0 wins in their last two outings against Indiana and No. 4 Penn State. Rutgers has another top-10 matchup with Maryland Friday before hosting the Lions. Four players are tied for the team lead with four goals. Milena Redlingshoefer has a team-high eight assists to give her 16 points. Giana Glatz has seen the bulk of the action betwen the pipes and has an 8-2 mark with a 0.97 GAA, .737 save percentage and three clean sheets.
INSIDE THE SERIES - RUTGERS
Columbia is 3-6 against Rutgers in their previous nine matchups. The schools have not squared off since a 3-2 Scarlet Knights win in Piscataway during the 2012 campaign.
