Cross Country Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

Both the Columbia Cross Country men and women earned the honors as part of the USTFCCCA's 2020 All-Academic awards.

NEW ORLEANS — Once again, in what has become a yearly tradition, Columbia Cross Country's Men's and Women's teams have both earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team honors as the USTFCCCA announced their 2020 Cross Country All-Academic awards on April, 1.

In order to qualify a team must have a cumulative team GPA of all student-athletes that sits at least at a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. The women's team put together a 3.6 GPA, while the men's team finished with a 3.5 GPA to push them past the 3.0 GPA qualifying number. Columbia's women were one of 233 teams that earned the honors, while on the men's side they were one of 199 teams to gain the All-Academic nod.
