Men's Tennis Poised to Begin Spring Slate at MLK Invitational

Columbia will travel to Atlanta, GA for the three-day meet hosted by Georgia Tech.
NEW YORK -- The Columbia men's tennis team will embark upon its spring slate at the MLK Invitational in Atlanta, GA. The three-day meet (Jan. 15-17) will be hosted by Georgia Tech at the Ken Byers Athletic Complex and will feature No. 14 North Carolina and No. 23 Illinois.

Sophomore Alex Kotzen and first-year Max Westphal return to the court after impressive showings at the ITA Fall Nationals. Kotzen appeared at the event via an at-large bid while Westphal was just one of 32 athletics to earn an automatic qualification.
The Lions last appeared at the MLK Invitational in 2020, sweeping Georgia Tech in the singles event on the second day of competition. Of this group, Kotzen and Alex Huang return.
