Cavaliere Recognized as "Ivy League Breakout Player to Know" by TopDrawerSoccer

Cavaliere concluded her rookie campaign as an all-league honorable mention.
NEW YORK -- Rising sophomore Sophia Cavaliere, of the Columbia women's soccer team, has been recognized as an "Ivy League Women's Breakout Player to Know" by TopDrawerSoccer. In the release posted last week, TopDrawerSoccer recognized one athlete from each Ancient Eight program.
Throughout the 2021 campaign, Cavaliere was a fixture in head coach Tracey Bartholomew's starting lineup. She recorded four goals with three assists as a rookie, including the essential tying tally against La Salle (9/8).
On the year, the Bernardsville, NJ native was named to the Ivy League Weekly Honor Roll three times.
Teammate Marcia Ojo was also recognized by TopDrawerSoccer, earning "Top 100 Freshman" accolades in December.
