2024 All-Americans earn another USAT selection
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Columbia University sophomores Michelle Ahn (recurve) and Eunice Choi (recurve) have been named to the 2025 United States Archery Team (USAT). The duo comprises two of the five athletes named to the U21 Recurve Women's Division squad. USA Archery announced the full teams and divisions on Tuesday.
Those selected to the USA Archery Team (USAT) are chosen based on their performances in national and USAT Series Events. Those events include the Arizona Cup, Gator Cup, SoCal Showdown and Buckeye Classic, as well as the USA Archery Indoor Nationals and JOAD Target Nationals.
Ahn and Choi were each named USA Archery All-Americans at the end of the first-year seasons. They teamed up with Judith Gottlieb to win the 2024 USA Archery Recurve Collegiate National Championship. Both Ahn and Choi also earned All-American Academic Team honors.
Ahn continues a run of selections to the USAT, being named in the U21 Division for four straight years (2022-25) and U18 the two prior (2020-21). Two of the last three seasons, Ahn has earned gold in her recurve division at the Arizona Cup. She was also a U21 JOAD National Team Gold Medalist in 2022 and has even represented the United States in the Senior Women's Recurve Division. Ahn won bronze in her division at last year's Gator Cup
Choi, another USAT regular, previously earned spots on the team from 2020-23. She was ranked No. 1 by the USA Archery Team in the Recurve Junior Women's Division in both 2022 and 2023. Last season, Choi had a stellar collegiate rookie campaign, which included a bronze at USA Archery Indoor Nationals, gold in her division at The Vegas Shoot and silver in U21 at the Arizona Cup.
Columbia's 2025 season begins in January.
