On Friday, the Lions will take on Penn in Philadelphia, then on Saturday Columbia will square off against Princeton in New Jersey. The Quakers currently sit in fifth place in the conference with a 4-6 Ivy League record, and need a win to stay in the hunt for a postseason spot. The Tigers rank second in the Ivy League with an 8-2 record in the conference. The Lions are coming off their first Ivy League victory of the season last weekend, defeating the Harvard Crimson in a five-set thriller in Levien on Saturday. Multiple Lions had a career night, helping keep the team afloat when trailing 1-0 in the match, 2-1 in the match, and 14-2 in the final set.

MEN'S SOCCER
The men's soccer team will wrap up its 2024 campaign in upstate New York against No. 16 Cornell (11-2-2, 4-2-0 Ivy). The Lions have lost three straight and have been eliminated from Ivy League Tournament contention. However, they'll be looking to end the season with a chance to take down one of the nation's top 25 programs. The Big Red's only two losses on the season have come in league play, opening the Ivy slate with a loss at Yale, 1-0, and dropping another close contest to then-No. 12 Penn, 3-2. They ride a two-game winning streak heading into the regular season finale, shutting out Brown, 1-0, and Harvard, 3-0, on consecutive weekends. Cornell owns a +21 goal differential, which ranks 10th nationally. They have outscored opponents a combined 34-13, led by an Ivy League-best 14 goal from Alex Harris. His goal total ranks second in the country, as does his shots per game (4.87) and shots on goal per game (2.73). He is also second nationally in points per game (2.13) and third in total points (32). Last season, Columbia kept Cornell out of the Ivy League Tournament by battling to a 0-0 draw at Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium.
