Three sessions of Summer ID Clinics, three Youth Camp weeks available
NEW YORK — Dates and registration for the 2024 Skyline Soccer Academy camps have been announced. Campers can choose from three different sessions of Summer ID Clinics, as well as three different weeklong Youth Camps.
Campers will have the opportunity to step on the field and learn from Columbia men's soccer head coach Michael Casper, who enters his second season leading the Lions. Casper brings over 20 years of collegiate coaching experience, including serving as head coach at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania, from 2007-14. He joined the Lions last summer after a four-year stint as an assistant coach at Georgetown, where he won the 2019 NCAA Championship.
These soccer camps provide opportunities for all ages and skill levels. Sessions begin June 29 and run through August 1.
SUMMER ID CLINICS (boys entering 9th grade and beyond)
- Session I: June 29-30
- Session II: July 20-21
- Session III: July 27-28
Summer ID Clinics are the best way for potential recruits to be identified for the Columbia coaching staff. Many players on Columbia's active roster, along with several Columbia men's soccer alumni, have been identified by the program through these clinics.
The main goal of the Skyline soccer academy is to provide a fun and competitive environment for high school aged players to develop their technical and tactical skills and to apply those skills to game situations. Campers will participate in training sessions, small and full sided games, throughout the camp session.
We hope that each camper will leave camp having learned new skills and how to apply those skills in exciting and challenging game situations. The Skyline Soccer Academy will provide excellent facilities and a highly capable and enthusiastic staff. Campers will have the opportunity to compete against other talented players from around the country and will hopefully create an ideal environment to showcase their talents.
