The Lions open the season on November 8 against Penn at Uris

NEW YORK — The Columbia women's swimming & diving program announced its 2024-25 schedule on Wednesday evening, with the season set to begin on Friday, November 8 at Uris Natatorium with a meet against Penn.

The weekend before, the Lions will compete in an exhibition meet against the Fordham Rams at Uris that will be open to the public. That competition will begin at 11 a.m.

After the regular season opener against Penn, a week later the Lions will host the Yale Bulldogs in New York City, with the meet set for 5 p.m.

The following Friday, Columbia will take its first road trip of the season to face off against Harvard in Cambridge. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. on November 22.

In the first championship-style meet of the season, the Lions will look to defend their title at the ECAC Winter Championships, which will be hosted by Baruch College this year in East Meadow, New York. The competition will take place from December 6-8

During the same time period, Columbia will be squaring off against the Princeton women's team at the Big Al Invite.

After a brief hiatus during the holiday season, Columbia will return to the pool on January 14 to take on Brown at Uris at 5 p.m. This will be the Lions' final home meet of the season and the team will recognize its seniors.

Columbia will close the regular season with a two-meet road trip, traveling to take on Cornell and Dartmouth in consecutive weekends on January 16 and January 25.

This year's Ivy League Championships will be hosted by Princeton and take place from February 19-22. ECAC Championships will be the following weekend, running from February 28-March 2 in Annapolis, Maryland.

The 2025 Zone Diving Championships will be hosted by Rutgers in Piscataway, New Jersey from March 10-12. For any Lions that qualify, the NCAA Championships will be held in Federal Way, Washington and will begin on March 19.
