Men's Swimming & Diving Opens 2025-26 Season on Saturday at Penn

Lions will take on the Quakers at noon in Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The Columbia men's swimming and diving program will open the 2025-26 season on Saturday at Sheerr Pool in Philadelphia. The Lions will square off in an Ivy League dual meet against the Penn Quakers that is scheduled to begin at noon.
LAST SEASON
The men finished the 2024-25 season with a 3-5 overall record in dual meets, with a 3-4 mark in Ivy contests, earning wins over Penn, Brown, and Dartmouth. The Lions would go on to finish in sixth place at the Ivy League Championships.
NEW FACES
The Columbia men welcomed eight new faces ahead of the 2025-26 season. The class of 2029 hails from four different U.S. states and three different countries, and is composed of six swimmers and two divers. To meet each new individual, click HERE.
SCOUTING PENN
The Penn men finished last season with an overall record of 4-6, with a 1-6 mark in Ivy League dual meets. The Quakers would go on to finish seventh at the Ivy League Championships.
Last season, the Lions earned a 188-11 win over Penn.
Peter Whittington is the Quakers' only returning All-Ivy recipient after picking up second-team honors at Ivies with a second-place finish in the 400 IM last year.
Emma Sticklen, a three-time NCAA champion and NCAA record holder in the 200 fly at Texas, enters her first season with the Quakers as an assistant coach.

The Lions will return to action on Friday, November 15 against Princeton. The dual meet will begin at 5 p.m. in New Jersey.
