Lions look to get back into the win column
NEW YORK – The 71st-ranked Columbia women's tennis team returns home for one match, hosting Denver on Wednesday evening at the Philip and Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center.
Wednesday's match against the Pioneers was originally scheduled for 1 p.m., but will now be played at 5 p.m.

LIONS IN THE ITA RANKINGS
Columbia checked in at No. 71 in this week's edition of the ITA Rankings released earlier this week. Columbia was previously ranked No. 69 last week.
LAST TIME OUT
Columbia came up short in its road contest at No. 65 Cal Poly. The Mustangs took the early lead, securing the doubles point, the Lions got the win from the duo of Malak El Allami/Fatima Keita in the No. 1 spot.
In the singles matches, Cal Poly took a 2-0 lead early when Peyton Dunkle defeated Gayathri Krishnan 6-4-6-4 in the No. 2 spot. Columbia got its first point when Emily Baek defeated Lynch in straight sets, at the No. 6 spot.
The Lions tied the match at 2-2 when Sophia Wang defeated Alexandra Ozerets 6-3, 6-4. El Allami made it 3-3 when she defeated Buntrock 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 in the one spot. Unfortunately, the Mustangs held on for the win when MacCallum defeated Winta Tewolde 7-5, 6-2, 4-6 in the No. 5 spot.
