Lions open at Easton Youth & Collegiate Trophy Tournament
NEW YORK — The 2026 Columbia University archery season is set to begin this Saturday at the Easton Youth and Collegiate Trophy Tournament. The shoot will take place at Spooky Nook Sports in Manheim, Pennsylvania.
Eleven members of the Columbia archery team are competing in the season-opening event. Live results can be accessed here.
The 2026 Columbia Lions archery team boasts a roster that includes nine returners and three first-year newcomers. Among the returners are senior Lillian Han and junior Eunice Choi, who teamed up with 2025 graduate Judith Gottlieb to win last year's USA Archery Collegiate Recurve National Championship. It was the second straight title for Columbia's recurve team.
Choi, Han and senior Sydney Sullenberger (compound) are Columbia's returning All-Americans from last year. Giselle DeSousa (compound), who represented Portugal at the 2023 World Archery Youth Championships, rounds out Columbia's senior trio. Junior Michelle Ahn is also a returning All-American from 2024.
The Easton Youth and Collegiate Trophy Tournament is the first of six scheduled competitions on the 2026 Columbia archery schedule.
