Lions look for continued success on the road
NEW YORK – The Columbia women's basketball team (9-5, 0-1 Ivy) hits the road for the first time in 2026, heading to Cambridge, Massachusetts, to take on Harvard (8-6, 1-0 Ivy). Opening tip from Lavietes Pavilion is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m.

OPENING TIPS
• Columbia owns a 14-game winning streak in true road games, which is the longest active streak in the country. The Lions are 5-0 this year and won their last nine such games last year. The team's last loss in an away game came at Cameron Indoor Stadium in a competitive battle against then-No. 13 Duke, 77-61
• Perri Page is one of five players in the country averaging at least 13.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and shooting 50 percent or better from the field. Two of the other three players are reigning All-Americans Sarah Strong (UConn) and Madison Booker (Texas). Page leads the Ivy League and ranks top 50 nationally in both total steals (40) and steals per game (2.86). She ranks No. 6 in the Ivy League in scoring (13.9), No. 6 in rebounding (6.8), and No. 2 in field goal percentage (.530)
• Riley Weiss leads the Ivy League and ranks top 75 in the NCAA in scoring, averaging 17.6 points per game. She recorded her 1,000th career point on Dec. 29 at FGCU, scoring a game-high 24 points.
• Columbia leads the Ivy League in assists per game (16.4) and steals per game (12.1). Their 12.1 steals per game rank No. 28 nationally. Their assists average ranks top 50.
• Columbia has won five straight series meetings at Harvard, a winning streak that dates back to 2020. Last year, Riley Weiss scored a then-career-high 26 points at Lavietes Pavilion to lead Columbia to an 80-71 victory.
• The Lions have not lost consecutive Ivy League games since March 6-7, 2020, falling at home to Princeton and Penn. They hope to avoid their first 0-2 start in league play since 2018.
ROAD WARRIORS
• Columbia has won 14 straight true road games dating back to last season, which is the longest active "away" winning streak in the country. The streak does not include "neutral" site games.
• Columbia's 14-game streak is two better than the second-longest active streak of 12, held by Colorado State.

CORNELL POSTGAME NOTES (Jan. 3)
• Fliss Henderson's career-high 16 rebounds were the most by a Lion since Susie Rafiu went for 16 in an 89-37 win over Dartmouth on Feb. 14, 2025.
• Henderson recorded her first career double-double.
• Perri Page scored a career-high 24 points and recorded just her second career 20+ point game.
• Page also hit a career-best 11 field goals and shot a career-best 11-of-15 (.733).
• The Big Red earned their first series victory against Columbia since Jan. 25, 2020, in Ithaca. It was their first win at Columbia since Jan. 20, 2018. It snapped Columbia's eight-game series winning streak.
• The loss snapped Columbia's 10-game winning streak against in-state opponents. The Lions are 21-2 (.913) in their last 23 games against teams from New York state.
HALFTIME WINNING STREAK
• Columbia has won 35 consecutive games when leading at halftime. The Lions have won their first seven such games so far this season, all 20 games when leading at the half in 2024-25, and their final eight such games in 2023-24. Columbia's last loss with a halftime lead came at Princeton on January 20, 2024, taking a 37-33 lead into the locker rooms but coming up short, 80-65.
DECEMBER DOMINANCE
• The Lions were a perfect 5-0 in December. Over that time, they averaged 70.6 points on offense and held opponents to an average of 48.4 points. The Lions also shot 44.8% from the field over those five games and held opponents to 34.5 percent. The five victories came against Manhattan (Dec. 3), Wagner (Dec. 6), Seton Hall (Dec. 9), UTSA (Dec. 20) and FGCU (Dec. 29).
• Since 2020, Columbia is a combined 24-3 (.889) in the month of December. That record includes a perfect 5-0 mark in 2023 and a perfect 7-0 mark in 2022.

• Columbia head coach Megan Griffith coached her 250th career game in a 63-44 win at FGCU on Dec. 29.
• Griffith is the winningest coach in program history, owning an overall record of 155-96 (.618).
• Earlier this season, Griffith earned her 150th career win when the Lions defeated South Dakota State, 80-67, at the Cancun Challenge (Nov. 28).
• Under Griffith, Columbia has won its first three Ivy League Regular Season Championships (2023, 2024, 2025) and earned its first two bids to the NCAA Tournament (2024, 2025). She coached the Lions to their first NCAA Tournament win in program history, defeating Washington, 63-60, on March 20, 2025.
