200 Medley and 800 Free Relay Finals Wrap Up Day One
PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Columbia women's swimming and diving team sits in eighth place after night one of the 2026 Ivy League Championships being held at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center on the campus of Brown University.
Through two events, the Lions have compiled 88 points. Harvard leads the competition with a score of 118. Princeton is in second place with 112 points. Brown resides in third, scoring 110 points.
DAY ONE
The Ivy League Championships began with the 200-medley and the 800-free relay.
Columbia's A relays both placed eighth, with the 200-medley squad of Shaelyn Shields, Ashley Hong, Ella Chan, and Sally Ma finishing a second away from seventh at 1:41.16.

ON DECK
Day two begins tomorrow with the 500 freestyle. Prelims start at 11 a.m. and finals take place at 6 p.m. every day.
Following the completion of the Ivy League Championships, the qualified divers will begin preparations for the NCAA Zone Diving competition on March 9.
