Women's Basketball Prepares for Friday-Saturday Back-to-Back at Yale, Brown

First-place Lions test their impressive road record
NEW YORK – The Columbia women's basketball team (18-6, 9-2 Ivy) heads to New England for its final road trip of the regular season. The Lions face Yale (6-18, 2-9 Ivy) on Friday at 6 p.m., followed by Brown (15-8, 8-3 Ivy) on Saturday at 5 p.m. Both games are available on ESPN+ and the ESPN app.

OPENING TIPS
• The Lions enter the weekend tied for first place atop the Ivy League standings and own the head-to-head tiebreaker against Princeton. Columbia is seeking a fourth straight regular-season title.
• Columbia has 10 points in this week's Associated Press Top 25, the most it has ever received in an AP Poll in program history. The Lions have received votes in the AP Poll four times this season. Columbia also checked in at No. 22 in The Athletic's weekly Power Rankings, its highest ranking of the season.
• Columbia has won 9 of its last 10 games entering the weekend. Over that span, the Lions are averaging 72.8 points per game, shooting over 45% from the field, outscoring opponents by 19.1 per game, outrebounding opponents by an average of 9.6 per game, and holding a +4.7 turnover margin. Two of those 10 games include victories over nationally-ranked Princeton, as well as a road win at Harvard.
• Riley Weiss leads the Ivy League and ranks top 25 in the nation in both scoring (19.7) and 3-pointers made per game (2.83). She also leads the league in total points (472), 3-point percentage (36.2%), total threes (68) and total field goals made (170).
• Perri Page is one of three players in the NCAA to average at least 14.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals and shoot 50% or better from the field. The other two players are reigning All-Americans Sarah Strong (UConn) and Madison Booker (Texas). Nationally, Page ranks top 50 in FG% (53.1%).
• Columbia's 14-game series winning streak against Brown is its longest series winning streak against any opponent in program history. The Lions also own an 11-game active series winning streak against Yale.

• Columbia clinched its spot at the 2026 Ivy League Women's Basketball Tournament with an 81-42 victory at Dartmouth on Saturday, February 21.
• The Lions have now qualified for each of the last six Ivy League Tournaments. The 2020 tournament was the first one the Lions qualified for, but the tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Columbia is seeking its first Ivy League Tournament Championship. The Lions have made the championship game three times (2022, 2024, 2025).
RECORD BOOK TRACKER
• Perri Page enters the weekend with 485 career rebounds. She is 15 rebounds away from becoming the 17th player in program history to reach 500.
• Weiss's 472 points this season are the ninth-most in program history (472). She is 49 points from the No. 8 spot, occupied by Judie Lomax's 521 points from the 2009-10 season. Weiss also holds the No. 6 spot on that list with 553 from last season. Her 19.7 points per game this season currently ranks fourth.
• Weiss (1,239) is No. 8 on Columbia's all-time scoring list, 53 points behind Kristina Tyer '88CC (1,292) for seventh.
• Weiss (440) is No. 7 all-time in FG made. She passed Ellen Bossert '86BC (435) on Feb. 21 at Dartmouth.
• Weiss (207) is the 18th player in Ivy League history to make 200 career threes. She is now 17th on that list and just 15 threes away from Brown's Sophie Bikofsky (2001-05) for a top 10 spot.
• Perri Page (137) is ninth all-time at Columbia in steals. She is nine behind Kathleen Barry '11CC for eighth.

• Columbia outrebounded Dartmouth by 22, its second-largest rebound margin of the season (Ohio, +25).
• Nasi Simmons was 5-for-5 from the floor. She is the first Lion to go perfect from the floor (min. 5 makes) since Mikayla Markham went 5-for-5 in an 89-64 win against Harvard on Feb. 15, 2020.
• Columbia registered 20+ assists for the sixth time this season.
• Sophomore Marta Jaama made her career collegiate free throw.
• Susie Rafiu played in her 100th career game.
WEISS IS NICE
• Riley Weiss is one of two players in the NCAA to score 38+ points in multiple games this season. The other is Iowa State's Audi Crooks, who has three 40-point games.
• Weiss is the first player in the NCAA since Caitlin Clark (Iowa) and Madison Conner (TCU) to have multiple games with 9+ made threes in a single season. Clark and Conner did it during the 2023-24 season.
• In her 38-point performance at Cornell (Feb. 7), Weiss tied the Columbia record with nine made threes. It is the second time she has made 9+ threes in a game this season. The other came in her record-breaking 40-point performance against Dartmouth.
• Weiss ranks Top 25 in the NCAA and leads the Ivy League in scoring average (19.7 ppg). She also leads the league in total points (472), field goals made (170), 3-pointers made (68) and 3-pointers made per game (2.83).
