First-year posts 54.57m mark to claim runner-up finish Army West Point
WEST POINT, N.Y. — First-year thrower Mia Hoskins continued her standout outdoor campaign with a runner-up finish in the women's hammer throw on Thursday afternoon at the Army West Point Twilight.
Hoskins recorded a mark of 54.57m (179-0) on her fourth attempt to place second overall in the field. The first-year consistently improved throughout the competition, opening with a throw of 53.00m before eclipsing the 54-meter mark twice during the finals.
