2006-07 Season: Was 14th in 3000m at Outdoor Heps (11:48.80)...placed ninth at Sam Howell Invitational in the 3000m steeplechase, crossing in 11:10.76...ran the 3000m in 10:46.90 at Indoor Heps...won the 3000m at Metropolitan Championships with a time of 10:22.53...ran one mile in 5:24.16 at Yale-Dartmouth Invitational...had time of 10:45.18 in 3000m at Valentine Invitational.
At Ventura High: Eight letters in XC and track . . . captained both . . . ran everything from the 800 to 3200, and high jumped . . . All-Southern Section and first team all-state as a senior in XC, when she finished fourth . . . 13th as a junior . . . helped the Cougars to the 2003 state Division I championship (after finishing second in 2002) and CIF-Southern Section title . . .
