Coach Mangurian on Zack McKown: Flashes plays on the practice field. Needs to show consistency in all areas. Has a competitive streak that doesn’t always show. We are looking for separation in some areas. Shows up and works hard. Has had a solid off-season, but needs to show a consistent, disciplined, physical style of play. He will get his chance this spring.
2012: Played in one game at Brown.
2011: Played in six games ... totaled one catch for a touchdown against Yale in the middle of a blizzard.
2010: Saw junior varsity action.
At Fork Union: Played one season as a preparatory student and shifted to tight end, where he started every game ... first team all-region and second team all-state at linebacker as a senior at Judge Memorial High in Salt Lake City ... first team all-state and all-region as a junior.
