Kachar Falls in Finals of Cissie Leary Invitational

Milena Kachar lost to Lena Litvak of Harvard, 6-1, 6-2 in the finals of the A singles bracket of the CIssie Leary Invitational. Kachar was last year's Cissie Leary Champion.
Kachar journey to the finals was not without highlights. Kachar defeated the tournament's top seed, Juliette Mavroleon of Arizona, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3) in the semifinals. She also defeated Stephanie Schnitter of Harvard, 6-2, 1-6, 11-9 in the quarterfinals.
Nina Suda and Sydney Murray won their first matches of the consolation bracket before falling in the second round.
