Princeton Invitational Results Cross Country Roster Cross Country Schedule

Women place five runners in the top-15 at the Princeton Invitational.

PRINCETON, N.J.- The Lions cross country team capped off a strong weekend with a top showing at the Princeton Invitational. The women claimed second place of 22 participating teams, with five runners placing in the top 15 finishers. The men took home fifth place in team standings out of 20 entries.

Seniors Erin Gregoire, Libby Kokes and sophomore AllieHays finished side-by-side in fourth fifth and sixth places. The finishing times were 21:11.4, 21:11.6 and 21:11.9 respectively. Junior Katie Wasserman claimed ninth place with a time of 21:22.9, and rounding up the top five performers for the Lions was Junior Abigail McLaughlin with a 15th spot and a time of 21:39.4.

For the men, senior Tyler Italiano placed seventh in the field with a time of 24:16.1 for the 8k race. Brian Zabilski took home 17th place finishing in 21:38.5. In 22nd, Kenny Vasbinder marked a time of 24:39.5, and senior Sam Ritz finished in 40th in 24:56.7.

With the completion of the Princeton Invitational, Columbia cross country looks ahead to the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships back in Princeton on October 27th.
