Men's Squash to Host St Lawrence and Rochester This Weekend

No. 5 Rochester and No. 10 St Lawrence head to Manhattan to face the Lions
NEW YORK- Columbia men's squash hosts two non-Ivy League matchups in No. 5 Rochester and No. 10 St. Lawrence this weekend. Both matches begin at noon and will be played at SL Green StreetSquash. The Lions are trying to bounce back after last weekend's loss to No. 2 Harvard 0-9 by taking home two wins this weekend. The men's squad is currently ranked No. 3 on the Dunlop College Squash Rankings.
Scouting the Competition
Rochester is the first team up for Columbia this weekend. The Yellow jackets are coming off an upset win against No. 1 Trinity last weekend at home. The match ended up in a 5-4 decision, with the clinching game being decided by first year Cesar Segundo. The only loss on the record for Rochester was the third match of the season against Penn; Rochester lost 3-6.
The St. Lawrence squad currently sits at the No. 10 spot on the rankings. The 2-3 squad has been making improvements this season, after starting the year with an 0-3 record, dropping decisions to Princeton, Penn and Western Ontario. The Saints face Yale on Saturday before heading down to Manhattan for the Sunday matchup.

After this weekend's matches, the Lions rejoin the women's squad, and head out on the road to face George Washington at 11am on January 27.
