Women's Golf to Compete at Yale Intercollegiate This Weekend

Six Lions will compete at the three-day, 54-hole invitational this weekend at the Yale Golf Course.
NEW HAVEN, Conn.—For the fourth time in the last five years, the Columbia women's golf team will compete in the three-day, 54-hole Yale Women's Intercollegiate this weekend at the Yale Golf Course. Competition begins on Friday at 8:30 a.m. and concludes on Sunday.

Competing teams include Boston College, Boston U., Charlotte, Columbia, Delaware, Georgetown, Hartford, Harvard, Pennsylvania, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Stirling, Xavier and host Yale.
Six Lions will compete in the event including first-year Christine Shao, sophomore Alexis Florio, sophomore Jennifer Wang, first-year Annie Sun and junior Katie Lee. Sophomore Marlene Tartaro will compete as an individual. Columbia won the Yale Intercollegiate title in Fall 2016.
The Yale Golf Course is a par-71, 6,099-yard course. More information is available on the course at this link. Tee times on Saturday are at 8:30 a.m. On Sunday, the field will have a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
The Yale Intercollegiate marks Columbia's third and final outing of the fall 2019 season.
