1. LAST TIME OUT
Five different Lions scored goals as Columbia posted a dominant 6-1 triumph over the visiting Harvard Crimson on Sunday at Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium. The game served as Columbia's Senior Day, with the senior class combining for four goals and three assists. Sophomore

2. MARCIN'S MOMENT
Playing in his final home match, senior
Nick Marcin scored his first collegiate goal to put a bow on Columbia's 6-1 victory over Harvard. Fellow senior
Danny Laranetto played the ball up the left side of the field to Marcin, who took it in stride and fired a left-footed shot from just outside of the box into the top-left corner. The Austin, Texas native's goal came in the 80th minute.
3. DENIS, ZEITZ SWEEP IVY HONORS

John Denis was named Ivy League Player of the Week and first year
Uri Zeitz was selected Rookie of the Week. The league office announced its weekly men's soccer honorees Monday afternoon.
Denis and Zeitz led the Lions to a dominating 6-1 victory over Harvard on Senior Day at Commisso Stadium. Denis scored two goals in a span of 3:11, netting his third brace of the season and second in Ivy League play. He also assisted a 16th-minute goal by senior
Matthew Swain for his third five-point performance of the year.
Zeitz assisted two goals and scored one of his own to earn the rookie honors. The Winston Churchill High School product out of Bethesda, Maryland found
Sebastian Gunbeyi the fourth minute, who curled in the first goal of the day. Zeitz then assisted Denis' first goal in the 31st minute before going on to increase the lead to 5-1 with a goal inside the far post in the 71st minute.

- First year Uri Zeitz ranks No. 13 nationally in shot accuracy (.583)

5. THE SERIES
Columbia and Cornell first met in 1906. The Lions hold a 35-24-11 all-time series lead and have won three of the last four. Last season, the Big Red put an end to Columbia's three-match series winning streak with a 2-1 overtime victory at Commisso Stadium. The Lions defeated Cornell, 2-0, the last time they faced off in Ithaca.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Cornell is unbeaten over its last four matches, going 2-0-2 with wins over Dartmouth and Bucknell. The victory over the Big Green came last Saturday in Hanover, 3-1. Brandon Morales opened the scoring in the 13th minute, Dartmouth leveled in the 19th, but the Big Red benefitted off an own goal in the 23rd and never trailed again. John Scearce doubled the cushion in the 52nd minute. Scearce and Harry Fuller lead the team with four goals apiece. Ryan Shellow has started 11 of the team's 16 matches between the pipes and carries a 1.13 GAA. Brady McSwain has started five times, including last Saturday at Dartmouth, with a 1.34 GAA.
