OPENING TIPS
• The Lions enter Friday on a four-game winning streak that began Nov. 17 with a 61-59 victory over reigning NEC champion Robert Morris. Columbia went on to defeat Army on the road, Milwaukee at home and most recently Georgetown on Friday, 54-49, at Levien Gym. The Lions will look for their first five-game winning streak since taking seven straight during the 2016-17 non-conference season.
• Columbia won its third straight game against a BIG EAST opponent on Friday, grinding out a 54-49 victory against Georgetown. The Lions defeated Providence in both 2016 and 2017.
• Columbia has held its opponent to less than 50 points in back-to-back games. The last time the Lions accomplished the feat against two straight Div. I teams was March 5-6, 2010, defeating Yale, 64-47, and Brown, 54-41. Columbia held Central Penn and Wagner to less than 50 in consecutive games in 2015-16.
• Columbia ranks among the NCAA's top 70 in blocks (4.4), top 60 in rebound margin (+7.8), top 30 in 3-point defense (.250) and top 20 in rebounds per game (44.75).
• In Friday's win over Georgetown, Columbia grabbed 59 rebounds, tying for eighth-most in program history and marking its most in a game since Dec. 1, 2015 in an 82-78 win over Saint Francis (PA).

Through eight games, the Lions rank No. 17 in the NCAA in rebounds (44.75), top 50 in rebound margin (+7.8) and top 65 in blocks. Through eight games last season, the Lions ranked 203red in rebounds (37.50), 283rd in rebound margin (-5.0) and 336th in blocked shots (1.3).

SCOUTING DAVIDSON
• The Wildcats (7-3) are off to their best start since opening 8-2 to start the 2006-07 season. Three Davidson players are averaging double figures, led by Suzi-Rose Deegan's team-high 14.0 points per game. Sarah Donavan (13.0) ranks second and is also the team's leading rebounder (9.2). She is averaging 16.3 points and 10.8 rebounds over her last four games, including a career-high 25 points at Virginia Tech and a career-high 20 rebounds at High Point. The Wildcats are used to playing high-scoring games, ranking third in the Atlantic 10 in scoring (72.5) and 12th in points allowed (65.2).
