NEW YORK – The Columbia women's rowing team races against Ivy League competition this weekend at the second annual Ivy League Invitational. The regatta, hosted by Princeton, will be held at Lake Carnegie and is available on ESPN+.

Sunday's racing will be split into two sessions. The morning session, which begins at 8 a.m., consists 12 heats among the Ivy League's varsity eight and varsity four crews. Columbia starts up at 8:45 as all three of its varsity fours race against a pair of crews from Cornell. The varsity eight races at 9:15 before the second varsity eight finishes off Columbia's early action at 9:45.

The afternoon session gets underway at 1:30 p.m. The first pair of Columbia boats to take to the water will be the second and third varsity fours, which go up against crews from Yale and Penn in the second heat of the session at 1:45. The varsity four takes on the Quakers and Bulldogs at 2:25.

Columbia's second varsity eight races two crews from Yale and one from Penn in its final heat of the day at 3:10 p.m. The varsity eight will conclude Columbia's day, also against Yale and Penn, at 3:40.

The Ivy League Invitational serves as a chance for all of the Ivy League crews to compete against one another in preparation for May's Ivy League Championships, which will also be held at Lake Carnegie on May 19.
