• The Lions are coming off a 76-66 home victory against Cornell in last Saturday's Ivy League opener. Columbia outscored the Big Red 28-15 in the final period to cement its seventh consecutive home win and fifth fourth-quarter comeback of the season. Columbia's seven-game home winning streak ties for its longest in program history, last set in 1987-88.

• Columbia has tied its best 14-game start in the program's 34-year history competing as a member of NCAA Div. I. The team's only other 10-4 start came in 2015-16. The Lions also started 10-4 in their last season as an NCAA Div. III program (1985-86) and were 11-3 the year prior (1984-85).

Abbey Hsu is the reigning Ivy League Rookie of the Week. Hsu earned her second such award on Monday following a 17-point performance against Cornell. The rookie's 17 points were the most by a Lion in an Ivy League debut since 2011, when Brianna Orlich scored 21 in a 61-54 victory over the Big Red.

Janiya Clemmons posted career-highs of seven assists and five steals in last Saturday's win. The senior guard tacked on 12 points and was named to this week's Ivy League Honor Roll.

• After defeating ETSU, 71-43, in its non-conference finale, Cornell opened Ivy League play with a 76-66 loss to the Lions last Saturday. Samantha Widmann and Shannon Mulroy led the Big Red with 16 points apiece at Levien Gymnasium, but they were overcome by Columbia's 28-15 fourth quarter. Laura Bagwell-Katalinich (15.3) and Samantha Widmann (13.5) enter this Saturday's matchup as the team's leading scorers. The duo also tops the squad on the glass. Cornell will look to redeem itself on the glass after getting outrebounded by its opponent for the first time all season in last Saturday's defeat. They enter the contest No. 6 in the NCAA in rebound margin (+12.9).
