NEW YORK – Columbia women's basketball (11-6, 2-2 Ivy) heads to Penn (11-5, 1-2 Ivy) and Princeton (15-1, 3-0 Ivy) for its first back-to-back road weekend of the Ivy League season. The Lions head to Philadelphia Friday to take on the Quakers at 7 p.m., followed by Princeton Saturday at 5 p.m.

OPENING TIPS
• The Lions are coming off a home weekend split against Yale and Brown. A sharpshooting second half propelled the Bulldogs to an 85-60 victory on Friday. Columbia bounced back on Saturday, outrebounding Brown, 50-26, to earn a 74-60 win.
Sienna Durr posted a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds to go with five assists.

• Columbia heads into the weekend 2-2 in Ivy play and in a three-way tie for third place in the league standings.

Abbey Hsu earned her third Ivy League Rookie of the Week selection this past Monday after going for 16 points against both Yale and Brown last weekend. Hsu shot 42.9 percent from the floor and 46.7 percent from 3-point range (7-15). She scored 10 fourth-quarter points on 4-of-6 shooting to help the Lions bounce back from Friday's loss to Yale with a 74-60 victory over Brown.

• Hsu has scored at least 15 points in each of her first four Ivy League contests and ranks among the top five in league play in scoring at 18.5 points per game. She is shooting 50 percent (17-34) from deep in Ivy games.

• Columbia hopes to snap a 22-game losing streak against Princeton and a 16-game losing streak against Penn. The Lions last defeated Penn in 2011 and last defeated Princeton in 2008 (both at Levien Gymnasium).

HSU IN FOR ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Abbey Hsu has picked up three Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors this season, two of which have come since the start of league play. She earned her first in December following an 18-point performance against NJIT, followed by her second after scoring 17 and hitting 5-of-7 from three in a victory over Cornell. Hsu's latest came this past Monday following back-to-back 16-point performances against Yale and Brown. Hsu's three Rookie of the Week awards this season along with the eight combined Columbia earned last season give the Lions 11 over the past two years.

SCOUTING PENN
• The Quakers (11-5, 1-2 Ivy) picked up their first Ivy League win after starting conference play 0-2, defeating Dartmouth, 66-33, on Saturday in Hanover. Penn went on a 29-0 run to take control of the game and held Dartmouth scoreless for an 11:30 span. Eleah Parker turned in her second double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds. The victory helped Penn bounce back from a 58-51 loss to Harvard in which the Quakers were held to just 13 first-half points and two in the second quarter. Freshman Kayla Padilla leads the Ivy League in scoring at 19.3 points per game and is shooting 43.2 percent from deep with a league-best 48 makes. Phoebe Sterba (10.5) and Parker (10.1) also average double figures. Parker heads the effort on the glass (6.6).

SCOUTING PRINCETON
• The Tigers (15-1, 3-0 Ivy) enter the weekend receiving votes in both the AP and USA Today Coaches Poll. Their vote total would make them 26th in each rankings system. They also carry an impressive RPI of 19. Princeton boasts the nation's top scoring defense, allowing just 49.3 points per game, as well as a top-10 scoring margin of +20.8 and a top 25 rebound margin of +8.1. The Tigers picked up a road sweep over Dartmouth, 66-34, and Harvard, 60-46, last weekend. Their only loss on the season came in overtime at Iowa, 77-75, which is currently ranked 22nd in the AP Poll. Senior Bella Alarie leads the team averaging 17.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Carlie Littlefield (13.9) also averages double figures scoring.
