Walker now has the sixth most points in the Ivy League with 15
The Quakers struck first, scoring at the 2:31 mark of the first quarter. Penn put one more in the cage before the quarter break, making it 2-0 heading into the second.
Penn scored two quick goals at the start of the second quarter. Less than 30 seconds after the Quakers' fourth goal, Columbia got one back, narrowing the deficit to three. Annabelle Brodeur played in a penalty corner that found the stick of Maya Walker. Walker shot the ball and Sophie Rockefeller deflected the shot beyond the reach of the Penn keeper for her second goal of the season.
The Quakers added another goal before the half, walking into the intermission ahead 5-1. Penn scored two more times before the final whistle.
Sarah Considine recorded her first goal of the season in the fourth quarter, getting the assist from Maya Walker. For Walker, the assist marked her team-high fifth of the season. She now has 15 points on the year, the sixth most in the Ivy League.
Up next, the Lions travel to Bethlehem, Pa. to play the Lehigh Mountain Hawks on Sunday at 1:00 P.M.
