5 THINGS TO KNOW:

1. MAKING HISTORY
• Columbia is in the midst of its best season in program history. Its 17-4 overall record is its best through 21 games in the program's history. The Lions are 8-1 in Ivy play for the first time after starting the league season 7-0.

• With its next win, Columbia will match the 2009-10 team for the most overall victories in the program's Div. I era (since 1986-87). Columbia's next Ivy win will also match the 2009-10 team's program record (9).

2. BREAK OUT THE BROOMS
• Columbia owns two regular season Ivy League sweeps so far this season, taking out both Yale and Penn. Its sweep over Yale was Columbia's first since 2011, while its sweep of Penn was its first since 2010. Back in 2020, Columbia swept Harvard for the first time in program history.
3. HSU ON THE CUSP
Abbey Hsu enters the game one made 3-pointer away from tying the program record of 73 in a season, set by Alexa Giuliano in 2014-15. Hsu is 72-for-198 (.364) from the outside. She is No. 3 in the NCAA in makes per game (3.43), No. 6 in attempts and No. 8 in total makes. Hsu leads the team in scoring at 16.3 ppg.

4. IVY MADNESS
• Columbia is one win away from clinching its second consecutive berth to the Ivy League Tournament. In 2020, the Lions posted an 8-6 Ivy League record to finish fourth, but were never able to compete in the tournament due to the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Columbia clinches its Ivy Tournament berth with its next win. The Lions can also clinch if Penn loses to either Yale or Brown this weekend.

5. SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
Harvard
• The Crimson (12-10, 8-6 Ivy) sit tied for third in the Ivy League standings with a 6-4 conference mark and 12-10 overall record. They saw their five-game winning streak snapped by Penn last weekend, battling the Quakers to force overtime after a late fourth quarter rally. The Quakers topped Harvard, 87-78. Harvard is led offensively by first-year Harmoni Turner, who is averaging 15.8 points per game to rank No. 3 in the league. Junior McKenzie Forbes (13.0) and sophomore Lola Mullaney (13.0) also average double figures. Turner also heads the team on the glass (6.7) and in total steals (56). Her 60 assists on the season are just one behind Maggie McCarthy for the team lead.

Dartmouth
• The Big Green (2-20, 1-9 Ivy) have taken their fair share of lumps this season. They are looking to rebuild under newly appointed head coach Adrienne Shibles, who is 421-183 (.697) in her NCAA coaching career. Dartmouth is Shibles' first Div. I project. The Big Green earned their first Ivy win of the season back on Feb. 5 at home against Brown, 58-54. Last Saturday, they hung tough for a half with Princeton, trailing 29-21 at the intermission, but were ultimately handed a 22-point loss. Sophomore Mia Curtis leads the scoring effort at 7.4 points per game. Doreen Arlik averages a team-high 5.7 boards.
