Women's Golf Continues Spring Campaign at Hoya Invitational

Five Lions will compete in the two-day, three-round event at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md.

ROCKVILLE, Md. —The Columbia women's golf team will continue its 2022 spring season on Saturday and Sunday when it travels to Rockville, Md. to compete, two-day, three-round Hoya Invitational. The 54-hole event will be played at Woodmont Country Club North Course. Live results are available on golfstat at this link.

Columbia will send five players to the event including Taylor Zeng, Alexis Florio, Paige Harrison, Anne Walsh, and Jennifer Wang.

Saturday's schedule will consist of the first and second rounds which will begin at 8:45 a.m. Sunday's third round will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The Hoya Invitational features 13 teams and 69 players including Boston U., Columbia, host Georgetown, Harvard, Howard, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Seton Hall, Stetson, St. John's, Penn, Towson and Yale.

Woodmont Country Club is a 6,125-yard, par-72 course. More information on the course is available at this link. Woodmont Country Club was home to the prestigious 120^th U.S. Women's Amateur Championship in 2020 and has been a site for the US Open and US Women's Open sectional qualifiers.

The event marks Columbia's final competition before the Ivy League Championship, which is scheduled for Friday, April 22-Sunday, April 24 at The Ridge at Backbrook in Ringoes, N.J.
