
Lacrosse Assistant Coaches Contend at World Women's Lax Championship

Larson, Nee to represent Czech Republic over the next two weeks.
Larson previously worked as a coach for the Under-19 Czech Republic Team for two years (2017-19), assisted the Senior National Team (2016-17), and played on the Czech National Team. As a coach, she helped lead the Czech Republic Team to a Silver Medal in the 2018 Under-20 Women's Lacrosse European Championship.
A two-year player, Larson was the team's co-captain and guided the Czechs to a fourth place finish at the 2019 European Championships.
Nee, a 2016 IWLCA All-American, four-time IWLCA All-Northeast Region First Team honore and two-time Big East Goalie of the Year, will assist the Czech Republic's goalkeepers and defenders.
Hosted by USA Lacrosse, nearly 600 athletes representing 30 nations will vie for the 11th Championship title, culminating with the gold medal game on Saturday, July 9.
Team USA enters the competition as the number one seed followed by Canada, England, Australia, Scotland, Israel, Wales, New Zealand, Japan and the Czech Republic in the top 10.
