Lacrosse Names Team Captains

Decker, Danese, Levinson, and Yun to lead Lions
NEW YORK — Columbia lacrosse head coach Anne Murray officially announced four student-athletes to lead the Lions through the 2022-23 season on Friday. Gianna Danese, Justine Decker, Madison Levinson, and Lauren Yun will captain Columbia's squad, effective immediately.
All have been with the program since their first year, competing through the challenges of COVID-19.
"This group comes with the support of their teammates, coaches, and fellow members of the Columbia Athletic department," said Murray. "The journey that we are on this year will echo for this program in the years to come. Our decisions will affect the path and experience of everyone around us, and the coaching staff is confident that our captains will help to keep us on course. We are excited about the balance they bring to each other and the energy they bring to the program."
