LEADING THE NATION
Abbey Hsu leads the country in 3-pointers made per game (3.58) and ranks No. 2 in total threes (68). She is 68-of-156 from the outside this season (.436), which ranks her top 20 nationally in 3-point percentage.

• As a team, the Lions rank No. 3 in the NCAA in 3-pointers made per game (9.8) and top five in total threes (187). Columbia is 37.4 percent from the outside, ranking 13th in the country.

DOUBLE DIPPING
Abbey Hsu was named both the Ivy League and Met Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) Women's Div. I Player of the Week for games played Jan. 17-22. Hsu led the Lions to a 20-point victory over Brown, 94-74, in the team's only game of the week. She scored a game-high 26 points, including going 7-of-11 from 3-point range. Her 4-point play midway through the third quarter put Columbia up 20 for the first time. The Ivy honors were the third of the year for Hsu, while the MBWA award was her second. HITTING AT A RECORD PACE
• Columbia is hitting shots at a record pace this season. Currently, the Lions are shooting 46.1 percent, which would rank No. 2 in program history and would be the best mark of the Lions' NCAA Div. I era.

• This year, Columbia has posted four of the program's top seven shooting games. The best game came at Cornell (Jan. 16), where the Lions shot 63.0 percent (34-54), which is the second-highest mark in program history and the best in the Div. I era. The program record is 63.3 percent, which came against Staten Island in 1986. Columbia shot 62.5 percent in a 103-54 win over Marist (Dec. 1), which ranks fourth. Their shooting percentages at Yale (Dec. 31) and LIU (Dec. 13) of 59.3 percent and 59.0 percent, respectively, rank sixth and seventh.

IN THE POLLS
• Columbia is receiving three votes in this week's USA Today Sports Coaches Poll. The Lions debuted with four votes on Jan. 3. This is the fourth straight week they are receiving votes.

• ESPN's latest women's basketball Bracketology has Columbia as an 11 seed as one of the "Last Four Byes" into the NCAA Tournament. The predictions have the Lions facing off against sixth-seeded South Florida in Ann Arbor, Michigan. ESPN's predictions are put together by Charlie Creme, who currently has Penn as the AQ out of the Ivy League. The Quakers won the head-to-head tiebreaker over Columbia to this point in the season.
