Columbia Goes Back-to-Back at Harvard, Dartmouth This Weekend

League-leading Lions look to stay atop the standings with four games remaining

NEW YORK – Columbia women's basketball (19-4, 8-2 Ivy) plays its first two games away from Levien Gymnasium in more than a month this weekend, hitting the road for a back-to-back against Harvard (14-8, 7-3 Ivy) Friday night at 6 p.m. ET, followed by Dartmouth on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.
 
GAME COVERAGE
Friday night's game at Harvard will be available live on ESPN+. Fans can access the broadcast with their ESPN+ subscription. Live stats will be provided by GoCrimson.com.
 
Saturday's game at Dartmouth will be available live on ESPN3. Fans wishing to access the game on ESPN3 will need to verify their TV provider to log in. Live stats will be available courtesy of DartmouthSports.com.

WHAT TO KNOW:

COMING DOWN THE STRETCH
• With four regular season games remaining, the Lions (8-2) are tied atop the Ivy League standings with Princeton (8-2). Harvard and Penn are tied for third (7-3), followed by Yale (5-5) in fifth. The top four teams qualify for the Ivy League Tournament.
 
IVY MADNESS SCENARIOS
• There are several scenarios in which Columbia can clinch its spot for the 2023 Ivy League Tournament. One more victory would all but lock up Columbia's third consecutive tournament berth. Two victories this weekend would clinch a berth.
 
• Columbia is also still in contention for the No. 1 seed in the tournament. Fans can click here to visit the Ivy League's tournament seeding and tie-breaking procedures.
 
ROAD WARRIORS
• Columbia is 10-2 in true road games this season. Last year, the Lions went an incredible 12-1 in away games to boast one of the top-five road records in the country. Going back to the 2019-20 season, the Lions are 26-3 in their last 29 true road games. Their only losses in that span came at Penn and Iowa State this season, and at Princeton last season.
 
IN THE NET
• Columbia continues to be the highest-ranked Ivy League team in the NCAA NET. Entering Thursday, the Lions are No. 37. Princeton (50), Harvard (84) and Penn (107) round out the top four in the Ivy League. Columbia owns the third-highest NET among all schools outside the power six (MTSU, South Florida).
 
YALE POSTGAME NOTES
• The 74-46 victory marked the fifth time this season Columbia held its opponent to 50 points or fewer.
• Columbia won its sixth straight against Yale, matching its longest winning streak in series history.
• The Lions committed a season-low 11 turnovers.
• The victory marked Columbia's 500th Ivy League game since officially joining the league in 1986.
 
KEYS TO VICTORY
• Columbia is an undefeated 16-0 and holding the opposition to fewer than 70 points this season. The Lions are also 16-0 when shooting 40 percent or more from the field, 14-0 when holding the opponent to under 40 percent shooting, 16-0 when getting to the foul line more and 16-0 when committing the same or fewer fouls than their opponent.

• Columbia is a combined 44-11 (.800) over the course of the last two seasons.
• Four of Columbia's starting five average double figures scoring - Abbey Hsu (17.5), Jaida Patrick (12.8), Kaitlyn Davis (12.7) and Hannah Pratt (10.0). Kitty Henderson ranks No. 2 in the Ivy League in assists (99) and assists per game (4.5). Henderson, Davis (3.5), Patrick (2.9), Rivera (2.6) and Hsu (2.5) all rank Top 15 in the Ivy League.
• Davis (.530) ranks No. 2 in the Ivies in field goal percentage. Pratt (.451) and Henderson (.429) also rank in the top 10. Hsu (.415) and Patrick (.415) are tied for 12th.
• Davis (0.9), Pratt (0.8) and Patrick (0.7) all rank top 10 in the Ivy League in blocks.
• Patrick (1.9) and Davis (1.7) are top 10 in the Ivy League in steals.
