"I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to rejoin coach Engles' staff," Nisbett said. "Columbia is a special place, and I am excited about the continuity of our roster with the guys that are returning, many of whom I worked with during my time as a graduate assistant. I can't wait to get to work serving our players and this program."
During the 2021-22 season at Columbia, Nisbett worked under Engles and assisted coaches and full-time support staff members with administrative duties, team travel, practice preparation, on-court operations and player development. He also assisted coaches with player development and acted as a scout team player.
Outside of the collegiate realm, Nisbett was a video assistant for the USA 3x3 women's national team in the spring of 2021. In that role, he assisted Lawson and the coaching staff with team video operations during their spring training camp sessions.
