PRINCETON, N.J. – The Columbia cross country teams returned to action this weekend, competing at the Princeton Invitational on Friday morning.
The men finished the event in 12th place with 305 points, while the women came in 15th place with 396 points.
Phoebe Anderson paced the Lions, coming in sixth place in the 6k with a time of 19:37.1.
Elia Ton-That had the next-best time for Columbia, earning 81st place with a time of 21:03.0.
Rory Clare clocked in at 21:07.1 for a 92nd place finish.
Talha Syed led the men with a 33rd place finish in the 8k, finishing with a time of 23:39.5.
Charlie Siebert was behind him in 49th place with a time of 23:51.0.
Gavin White followed closely behind Siebert in 56th place with a time of 23:55.6.

The Lions have next weekend off and then will return to Princeton for the Ivy League Championships on Saturday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m.
