Phoebe Anderson Set for NCAA Cross Country Championships

Anderson will race in the women's 6k at 10:20 a.m.
MADISON, Wis.— After an incredible second-place finish at the 2024 NCAA Cross Country East Regionals last Friday morning, Phoebe Anderson has received an automatic bid to the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
Hosted by the University of Wisconsin and being held at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course on Saturday morning, Anderson will represent the Lions on the biggest stage of collegiate cross country. The women's 6k is scheduled to begin at approximately 10:20 a.m.
In total, 38 women qualified for the NCAA Championships. For a closer look at all of the entries, click HERE.
At East Regionals last weekend, Anderson continued her strong running with a time of 19:31.48 in the 6k at Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in New Hampshire. Not only did this earn her a silver medal and the bid to race at the NCAA Championships, but it also helped her earn NCAA All-Region honors.
This will mark Anderson's fourth consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships. Her best performance came last year in Charlottesville, Virginia where she was named an NCAA All-American after finishing in 29th in the 6k at Anorama Farms with a time of 20:01.9
The entire meet will be streamed on both ESPNU and ESPN+.
