NEW YORK – The 48
th-ranked Columbia women's tennis team returns home for the final two matches of the regular season. Columbia will host No. 49 Yale at 1 p.m. Saturday before finishing the weekend against Brown on Sunday at 1 p.m. for senior day.
LAST TIME OUT
Columbia went 1-1 on the road last weekend with a 4-1 win at Dartmouth. The Lions lost at No. 39 Harvard to finish the weekend.
COLUMBIA IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Columbia's best ITA ranking this season came on February 27 when the Lions earned the No. 25 spot. The ranking marked the second time in program history Columbia has been ranked in the Top 25. The Lions sit at No. 48 in the most recent rankings released earlier this week.
SCOUTING YALE AND BROWN
Yale is 15-7 overall with a 3-2 record in Ivy League play after losing to Princeton last Sunday. The Bulldogs have wins over Brown, Dartmouth and Penn this season.
Brown sits at 10-11 overall with a 1-4 mark in conference play. The Bears lost to Princeton and Penn at home last weekend. Brown will travel to Cornell on Saturday before making the trip to New York City for Sunday's match.
