No. 57 Women’s Tennis Plays Host to Memphis, Michigan State This Weekend

Columbia returns home this weekend for a pair of matches
NEW YORK – The No. 57 Columbia women's tennis team returns home to Philip and Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center this weekend to host Memphis and Michigan State.
Columbia will kick off the weekend with a 1:00 p.m. match against Memphis on Friday. The Lions will then play Michigan State on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. to wrap up the weekend.

Action from the Milstein Family Tennis Center this weekend will be broadcast live through Columbia's stretch portal. Fans can also follow live scores online for both matches this weekend.
LIONS IN THE ITA RANKINGS
Columbia improved to No. 57 in the latest edition of the ITA Rankings released earlier this week. The Lions improved from No. 63 in last week's rankings.
LAST TIME OUT
Columbia sits at 5-4 overall this season and is looking rebound after a 6-1 loss to Syracuse on February 16. Gayathri Krishnan secured a singles victory in two sets at the No. 3 spot to put the Lions on the board at Syracuse.
Prior to the match at Syracuse, Columbia defeated Brown and Harvard to reach the finals of the ECAC Championships for the second straight season. Columbia took second place at the event after losing a tight match against Yale.
