Lacrosse Hosts Dartmouth on Senior Day

Lions will take on the Big Green Saturday at Commisso Stadium

NEW YORK - The Columbia lacrosse team concludes its home schedule on Saturday afternoon, as the Lions will welcome the Dartmouth Big Green to New York City. First draw is scheduled for noon at Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium.


SENIOR DAY
Following the conclusion of Saturday's game, the Lions will honor their seven seniors in a senior day ceremony. 

Columbia's seven seniors are Dylan Silar, Ellie Taylor, Sophie Kruse, Simone Koryszewski, Noelle DeMarinis, Dani Falcone, and Julie Griswold. Be sure to stick around after the game for the entire ceremony. 


LAST TIME OUT
The Lions took on #5 Princeton last weekend, with the Tigers coming away with a 17-6 win. 

Maddie Brogan led the Lions' offense, tallying her second career hat trick. Aside from Brogan's three goals, Cecelia Messner, DeMarinis, and Taylor each found the back of the net once. Messner added two assists for three total points. Falcone had a team-high four draw controls and three ground balls. 


SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
The Big Green enter Saturday's contest with an 8-5 record, with all five losses coming to top-25 teams. 

Dartmouth is 1-4 in the Ivy League, with a win coming over Cornell by a score of 12-10. Most recently, the Big Green came up just short against #17 Brown, 13-12. 

Last year, Dartmouth finished 7-7 with a 1-6 mark in the Ivy League. In last year's matchup, the Big Green took down the Lions, 17-7, in New Hampshire. Anna Becker and Falcone had two goals each in the loss.

Katina Christensen leads Dartmouth with 27 goals on the season. Fiona O'Keeffe is second on the team in points with 19 goals and 12 assists. Maya Kendall has been elite in the circle, collecting 157 draws.

ON DECK
Columbia will close out the 2025 season next Saturday against #22 Harvard. First draw is set for 1 p.m. in Cambridge.
