CORE SUPPORT SERVICES
The Columbia Athletics Success Through Well-Being (STWB) program provides the following six core support services to student-athletes: academics, career development, mental performance, sports nutrition, and well-being.

Each core service has a STWB team member dedicated to their respective area of support. STWB team members work with a wide network of key constituents, both on and off Columbia's campus, to ensure student-athletes are informed of important information, resources, and services available to them.

Access to student-athlete support services are offered in three primary ways:

General Support

General support services are offered to all student-athletes (e.g., drop-in hours, office hours, fieldwork outreach, career development programming, STWB weekly email communication, engagement and e-learning platforms, etc.)

Group Support

Group support services focus on specific topics and are offered to specific groups of student-athletes (e.g., captain leadership development, student-athlete affinity groups, team sessions, etc.)

Individual Support

Support services are offered to meet individual needs of student-athletes (e.g, individual problem solving meetings, academic support sessions, well-being check-ins, injury support, etc.)
