Coach Mangurian on Darin Patmon: Intelligent player, who is the consummate free safety. Gets everyone where they are supposed to be. Needs to improve physical style of play and be more vocal. Confidence only comes with competence. Darin needs to know his strengths and weaknesses and play accordingly. Could be a core special teams player.

2012: Played in nine games… totaled eight tackles playing both safety and special teams … had a solo tackle at Penn … tallied five tackles (four solo) and a pass breakup at Harvard … recorded two tackles versus Cornell.

At Land O' Lakes: Played football and ran track ... in football was second team all-conference and named team Defensive MVP ... set school record for most punt blocks in a career (seven) ... captained football as a senior and track as junior and senior ... recorded career totals of 162 tackles, 8.5 sacks, two interceptions, seven punt blocks, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries and a touchdown.
