Biography

At Cathedral Catholic: Fernandes was a member of the San Diego Rowing Club where she was coached by two-time women’s eight Olympic gold medalist Susan Francia. She finished in eighth place in the Head of the Charles 4+ in 2014 and was named most improved rower as a junior and a team captain as a senior. Fernandes is an accomplished student, maintaining a 4.0 GPA or above in each semester at Cathedral Catholic. She was a member of the National Honor Society and made the Dean’s list all four years.
