THE STORYLINES

COLUMBIA'S STATUS (13-6, 2-0)
The Lions completed a season sweep of Cornell, using 13 made 3-pointers and strong performances from Maodo Lo (18 points), Luke Petrasek (16 points, eight boards) and CJ Davis (11 points).

DARMTOUTH'S STATUS (7-9, 1-1)
The Big Green come into the weekend winners of three-straight. Dartmouth knocked off Harvard, 63-50, at home last Saturday to even its Ivy League record at 1-1.

Evan Boudreaux, a six-time Ivy League Rookie of the Week recipient, leads the Big Green in scoring (15.9 PPG) and rebounding (8.6 RPG).

SERIES HISTORY... DARTMOUTH
Friday will be the 209th meeting between the squads with Columbia holding a 109-99 advantage in the series. Last season, Dartmouth swept the Lions.

HARVARD'S STATUS (9-9, 1-1)
The Crimson held an 11-point second half lead, but fell to Dartmouth on the road last weekend.

Zena Edosmwan is averaging a double-double at 13.9 points and 10.6 rebounds per contest. The five-time defending Ivy League Champs use a balanced scoring attack with seven players averaging better than 7.0 points per game.

SERIES HISTORY... HARVARD
Columbia leads the all-time series, 94-80, but have dropped five straight and eight of its last nine to the Crimson.

SUITS AND SNEAKERS WEEKEND
The Columbia mens' basketball staff will be participating in Coaches vs. Cancer Suits And Sneakers Week during this weekend's action. It is a nationwide event when basketball coaches across the county unite for a common cause saving lives from cancer. Coaches and their staff wear sneakers with their suits while coaching games to raise awareness, share the importance of nutrition and physical activity, and to promote the American Cancer Society as a place for people facing cancer to turn to for free information, help, and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

HERE COME THE REINFORCEMENTS
Senior Alex Rosenberg returned against Cornell on Jan. 16 after missing five games due to injury. Lukas Meisner, who missed the Central Penn game, also logged five minutes. Senior Isaac Cohen has been medically cleared to play as well.

JAZZY JEFF
Junior Jeff Coby has provided a huge lift off the bench during the Lions' four-game winning streak, averaging 12.3 points and 9.3 rebounds during that stretch. Coby posted career-highs of 20 points and 13 rebounds against Central Penn and opened Ivy League play with another double-double against Cornell on Jan. 16 (13 points, 11 rebounds). He is the first Columbia player to record back-to-back double-doubles since Mark Cisco did so in three consecutive games in January 2012.

FROM DOWNTOWN
Columbia has been relient on the 3-point shot this season with 46.5 percent of its attempts coming from beyond the arc. The long-ball comrpises 39.2 percent of their total points, which is 10th in the nation, according to KenPom. The Lions'  192 makes are 20th highest in the NCAA. In addition, their 10.1 makes per game put them 13th in that category.

FANTASTIC FOUR
With the return of Mullins and Rosenberg, along with the strong play of Luke Petrasek, Maodo Lo has not had to carry the scoring load. All four players are averaging double-figures in points and the Lions' 77.6 points per contest putting them first in the Ivy League.

DO YOU NEED ASSISTANCE?
Columbia has been sharing the ball well all season and are averaging 15.8 assists per game to rank third in the Ivy League. The Lions assisted on 18 of their 20 field goals in a win over Bucknell on Dec. 2 and 19-of-22 against Robert Morris on Dec. 14.

THE SMITH ERA
Over the last five-plus seasons with Kyle Smith as the Lions' head coach, Columbia has won 89 games,  the most in such a span since Columbia posted 89 wins from 1967-68 season to 1972-73. It is also the most for a Lions coach in his first five-plus seasons at the helm since Lou Rossini notched 99 wins from 1950-55.

DOUBLE (DOUBLE) THE FUN
After registering just one double-double all of 2014-15 (Jeff Coby vs. Lehigh), Columbia has four this season. Alex Rosenberg notched 10 points and 10 boards in the season opener against Kean, Luke Petrasek accomplished the feat with 16 points and 11 rebounds against Howard, while Jeff Coby posted back-to-back double-doubles against Central Penn (20 points,13 boards) and Cornell (13 points, 11 rebounds).
