NEWS/NOTES
LAFAYETTE'S STATUS
The Leopards went 10-20 overall and 7-11 in the Patriot League in 2018-19. Lafayette will be without junior guard Alex Petrie for the entire season due to a medical condition. Petrie averaged 14.5 points last season and was the 2017-18 Patriot League Rookie of the Year. The Leopards do return leading scorer Justin Jaworski, who shot 48.9 percent from 3-point range, good for No. 2 in the NCAA, and 14.6 points per game. Last season, the bugaboo for Lafayette was defending the 3-point line, allowing opponents to shoot 38.2 percent from beyond the arc.
