NEW YORK- Columbia closed out its final dual meet of the season Wednesday evening with victories against Vassar, NYU and Sacred Heart. The Lions came out 3-0 for both the men and women's strips.  This was the last dual meet of the year, and the last regular season competition before NCAA Regionals on March 10. 
 
Not only was this the last dual meet, but Columbia celebrated Senior Day for the Lions.  Eight Columbia fencers make up the 2019 senior class. On the women's team, Quinn Crum (foil), Ilana Solomon (sabre), Iman Blow (foil) and Elise Gout (epee), and on the men's team Calvin Liang (sabre) Albert Zhang (foil), Nolen Scruggs (foil) and Jarett Poliner (epee) celebrated their final match in the blue gym.
