Women's Golf to Compete at Wofford Low Country Intercollegiate

Eight Lions will travel to Hilton Head, S.C. to compete in the Wofford Low Country Intercollegiate.
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C.—Eight Columbia women's golfers will compete at the two-day, 54-hole Wofford Low Country Intercollegiate on Saturday and Sunday at the Moss Creek Golf Club. Live stats are available on Golfstat at this link.
Among the eight Lions competing in the event are Allison Paik, Taylor Zeng, Alexis Florio, Paige Harrison, and Jennifer Wang. Competing as individuals are Anne Walsh, Annie Sun, and Marlene Tartaro.
Moss Creek Golf Club has a par of 72 and a yardage of 5,916 for the 54-hole event. Saturday's 36 holes will start with a 9:15 a.m. shotgun start, while Sunday's final 18 will tee off at 9:30 a.m.
A total of 16 teams will compete in the event including Appalachian State, The Citadel, Columbia, Gardner-Webb, Eastern Kentucky, Navy, UNC Asheville, Presbyterian, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Richmond, USC Beaufort, USC Upstate, Winthrop, host Wofford, and Yale.
The weekend marks Columbia's third event of the spring 2021-22 campaign. Following this weekend, two events remain on the Lions' schedule: at the Georgetown Hoya (April 9-10) and at the Ivy League Championship (April 22-24).
