Men’s Basketball Announces 2023-24 Schedule

NEW YORK — Columbia men's basketball head coach Jim Engles has announced the program's 2023-24 schedule.

The Lions open the season on Monday, Nov. 6 at Providence, who made last year's NCAA Tournament. Columbia welcomes Albany on Saturday, Nov. 11 for its home opener from Schiller Court at Levien Gymnasium. The Lions then host Bard the next day on Nov. 12 and round out a three-game homestand with a matchup against SUNY Delhi on Nov. 15.

Columbia heads to Philadelphia on Saturday, Nov. 18 to play Temple. Following the matchup with the Owls, the Lions return to New York for another three-game homestand with games against LIU (Nov. 21), Maine (Nov. 25), and Loyola Maryland (Nov. 29).

The Lions hit the road to play New Hampshire for the second-straight season on Dec. 3. Two days later Columbia welcomes Lafayette for a home matchup on Dec. 5. Columbia then has two more non-conference road games with FDU on Dec. 11 and Fordham on Dec. 30. Columbia's non-conference slate wraps up with a home contest against Mount Saint Vincent on Jan. 4.

Ivy League play commences for the Lions on Jan. 9 at Cornell. Columbia then heads to Yale on Jan. 15 before returning to New York for the conference home opener on Jan. 20 against Princeton. The following week on Jan. 27, Columbia hosts Penn.

Columbia embarks on a three-game road trip against Harvard (Feb. 2), Dartmouth (Feb. 3), and Brown (Feb. 10). The Lions come home for four-straight games that include two back-to-backs against Dartmouth (Feb. 16) and Harvard (Feb. 17), and then Brown (Feb. 23) and Yale (Feb. 24).

The Lions conclude their slate of road Ivy League games with a back-to-back at Princeton on March 1 and Penn on March 2. Columbia concludes the 2023-24 regular season at home against Cornell on March 9.

The top-four regular season finishers in the conference will compete in this year's Ivy Madness, held at Schiller Court at Levien Gymnasium on the campus of Columbia University from March 15-17.

Season tickets are on sale Wednesday, September 6. Remaining game times will be announced at a later date once finalized.
