Rowing Teams to Compete In Championship Events This Weekend

Women’s crew will race in Ivy Championship; HW & LW at EARCs
NEW YORK — All three Columbia rowing teams are in action this weekend as the women's team will compete at the Ivy League Championship Saturday and Sunday at Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J., while the heavyweights and lightweights will compete at the EARC Championships on Sunday at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass.
The women's Ivy League Championship will air on ESPN+. The preliminary races that begin Saturday at 4 p.m. can be watched here and the final races that start Sunday at 8 a.m. can be watched here. Live results will be available at this link.

The 3rd varsity 8 finished fourth in the Final 1 race while the 2nd varsity 8 boat won the Final 2 over Cornell. The 1st varsity 8 placed sixth in the Final 1 race. The women's varsity 4+ C placed second in the Final 1 race. The varsity 4+ A placed fifth in the Final 1 race while the varsity 4+ B team finished sixth in the Final 1 race.
On the men's side, the top Ivy League finisher of the 1v grand final at the EARC Sprints for both lightweight and heavyweight rowing will determine the Ivy League champion.
At last year's Eastern Sprints, the lightweight 1st and 2nd Varsity 8 boats each finished second in the Petite Final. The heavyweight 1st and 2nd Varsity 8 boats each won the 3rd Final.

At last year's Ivy League Championships, Elisa Luo was named All-Ivy First Team while Sierra Good was named All-Ivy Second Team.
