Hovde has announced the dates for eight summer camps to be held from June to August at Schiller Court at Levien Gymnasium
NEW YORK—Columbia men's basketball head coach Kevin Hovde has announced the dates for eight summer camps to be held from June to August at Schiller Court at Levien Gymnasium. Hovde and the rest of the Lions' staff will host two sessions of Lions Kids Camp and four days (six sessions) of Elite Prospect Camp.

Elite Prospect Camp is intended for SERIOUS basketball players. Participants will get hands-on coaching from current college coaches & student-athletes in order to get exposure to what life is like as a Division I student-athlete. Participants will be put through some of the same drills & skill sessions as our current Columbia Men's Basketball players & will get exposure to high levels of competition required to identify strengths as well as areas for improvement. This camp is ideal for high academic students aspiring to improve their exposure, recruitment, and skills to play college basketball in the future, or for those who wish to improve their development in order to make their high school/travel basketball teams.
Lions Kids Camp seeks to develop and improve fundamental basketball skills while teaching the broader benefits of the game to boys & girls entering the first through seventh grades. The staff provides professional instruction, personal attention, and an atmosphere conducive to learning.
