2016-17: (XC) Finished 16th at the Stony Brook Cross Country Invitational, with an 8K time of 27:11.7… Earned a fourth place finish at the Metropolitan Conference Championships posting a 5 Mile time of 26:25.1 and leading the Lions to a third place team finish… Helped the Lions clinch a team title at the Princeton XC Invitational finishing 35th overall with a 24:53.9 time in the 8K. (T&F) Recorded a 2:34.09 in the 1,000m at the Dartmouth/Yale/Columbia tri-meet ... Went 3:58.93 in the 1,500m at the Colonial Relays ... Clocked a season best 4:21.13 in the 1 Mile run during the Armory Track Invitational ... Ran 8:57.29 in the 3,000m at the Fastrack National Invite.
Personal: A member of the three-time cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track league champions at Saint Anthony's High School in Long Island … Earned nine varsity letters while running distance all four years … Posted personal bests of 1:55 in the 800m, 4:16 in the 1 Mile, and 15:13 in the 5K … The son of MaryBeth and Tim Dearie … Mother ran track at Lafayette, father ran at Marist, and his sister and cousin were also collegiate track & field athletes … Will attend Columbia College.
